Choose Bali for variety
Bali suits couples who want the beach to share space with rice terraces, temples, wellness, and a few different bases. It rewards a little planning and feels generous when you can stay for a week and a half.
The tradeoff is movement. Traffic around the south can take the romance out of a short itinerary, so two bases usually work better than trying to collect the island.

Choose Krabi for ease
Krabi is the simpler choice when the honeymoon is mostly about water, short transfer days, and good food without a long route. One base near Railay, Ao Nang, or Tubkaek can carry the trip.
The famous beaches become busy in high season. An early boat, a quieter base, and one completely empty afternoon do more for the experience than adding another island.
